Since the group was formed in Kyiv, the performance in this city for the guys is the most sincere, quivering and sincere. And even though Boombox's work has been modified for more than 15 years, one thing remains unchanged - the drive energy during concerts. So it will be this time. Do not doubt! Boombox gained their popularity almost from the very beginning of their creative career and quite successfully toured the expanses of the neighbouring countries and Russia. But after a conflict with the latter, the team categorically refused to hold concerts on their territory and did not even agree to perform in 2017 with a tour in Crimea. After such facts, there is no reason to doubt the patriotism and loyalty of the group to our country.

Boombox: albums

The official date of the formation of the collective is 2004. During this time, Boombox was able to release seven studio albums.

Fans of Ukrainian rock got acquainted with the project for the first time at the Seagull 2004 festival. A year later, the debut album "Melomania" was released. The disc was marked by a real sensation in the world of Ukrainian music. But to get even closer to the people, the guys handed out their albums to friends and acquaintances, interesting people and music lovers. Almost from the very beginning, Andrey Khlyvnyuk's team performs with concerts. But the most pleasant thing to see on the poster is Boombox Kyiv.

In 2006, lovers of Boombox's creativity got acquainted with the group's second studio work called "Family Business", which consolidated the position of their popularity. It was from this album that the world learned such hits as “Hottabych” and “Vakheram”.

A year later, the group released a mini-album "Trimay". And in 2008 the studio recording "III" was released, which included 11 tracks.
The fourth studio album was released in 2011 and was called "Seredniy Vіk". Boombox had released another mini-album All Inclusive the year before.

The next full-fledged studio album fans of the collective's creativity should have expected in 2013 under the name “Terminal B”.

In 2019, a new album of your favourite Boomboxes was released - “The Dark Code”.

Boombox: Popular Hits

It is unlikely that there is a person in Ukraine who has not heard the mega-hit "Vahteram". An interesting fact is that the theme of this composition is not at all a problematic love story of two people, although at first glance there is no doubt about it. The song tells about drug addiction. But despite such a rather provocative subtext, hundreds of thousands of fans throughout Ukraine, Russia and Belarus have been humming and loving this song since 2006 to this day.

Also widely known is the song "Ta4to", which has an innumerable number of cover versions and remixes. She is also adored by the poetess Vera Polozkova and uses the composition in her performances as headpieces and eyeliners.

Boombox's calling card is the hit “Hottabych”, which has other names as well: “Gene” “Na vosmom etaje”. The composition was created as a soundtrack to Petr Tochilin's film "Hottabych", but the film itself used fragments of five works by the group.

Boombox's interpretations of the legendary composition “Letniy dojd” by Igor Talkov and the hit by Valery Meladze together with VIA Gra “Get Out” are widely known.

Also, punk rockers have many collaborations with other top Ukrainian pop artists. For example:
