The premiere of the play "Quartetnik" in Kiev last November was so sold out that many simply did not have enough tickets!
And this year the actors of the Quartet decided to change the format and from the small chamber hall they transferred the performance to the stage of the large ICCA, where there should be enough space for everyone!
In November last year, for the first time outside of their native theater, the Quartet members played ... or, rather, told ... - there is no consensus among the actors on this matter, - in general, they presented a new theatrical project "Quartetnik".
He was born out of friendly feasts at which the actors of the Quartet traditionally shine, both together and each separately, and now one of them finally came up with the idea that it would be time for the wide audience to feel the full power of the participants' charm "Quartet", as they say, at arm's length.
However, the matter will not be limited to table talks alone.

“Improvising is always easy and pleasant, but this improvisation lays on a certain basis.
There is no play as such, but there are specially arranged stories - all of them are told "from oneself."
We tried to recreate a warm and sincere table conversation, the deficit of which, it seems to me, is now especially felt in society.
The quartet thinks as such an informal meeting with the audience, sewn almost on a living thread; every time it should take shape almost improvisationally - like a conversation at a real party, which goes from story to story, from anecdote to anecdote.
 And we also wanted to tell for a long time why we are who we are, to share with the audience our favorite songs, poems, excerpts from our favorite films ... everything that has brought us up, that has shaped our tastes and preferences. "

“This is not entirely improvisation, although there is no clear script.
There are stories - from our lives, from the lives of our friends, there are anecdotes, songs, memories, for example, about students.
This is a kind of conversation - table-top and very soulful.
We had a play "These are just cliches", we played it for nine years and once we just felt that people no longer understood it, and we shot it.
But it seems to me that the "lack of communication" is a topic that will be relevant at all times on the theater stage. "
