The first film ended with the fact that New Scamander (Eddie Redmane), along with MAKOSHA (Magic Congress of the USA), captured the most dangerous dark wizard Gelert Grindelwald. However, Grindelwald still managed to escape and even more excited by the desire to rule the world! He rallied around himself a lot of like-minded people who want only one - the dominance of thoroughbred sorcerers over non-magical creatures.
