“Are you sho mane on the Internet?” - If you talk or understand what Dasha Astafieva said, then you are familiar with and close to the work of the Ukrainian “sylukiv” under the name “Kurgan and Agregat”.

To date, the trio is considered the most sincere rappers from the Ukrainian outback. In their work, there is no pathos or desire to be “urban”, while the integral “feature” of the collective is rural openness, uncomplicated themes of texts, the use of surzhyk seasoned with profanity.
They are simple, funny and, one might say, homely. Homemade ones are not comfortable: soft white and fluffy, and homemade ones like sports training and a stretched T-shirt, but this is the most comfortable for you because in these clothes you feel yourself and you don’t need to “show off” and “seem” to anyone.
To create a greater atmosphere for their performances, a huge carpet is placed in the background of the stage. Red like that of a grandmother in the village. The phenomenon of their popularity can be explained only by simplicity and sincerity. And no matter how cunning and mannered you are, during the performance of the Kurgan and Agregat you will not understand when you start to deceive everyone and sing along to the refrains. As if at a rural wedding, dancing with a second cousin of the bride on the trampled garden in galoshes to the accompaniment of local live music. This has its romance.
The debut concert of the Kurgan and Agregat in Kyiv was held in the Atlas metropolitan club, where they met Dasha Astafieva. Then the guys were surprised that about a thousand people came to their concert. By the way, the group then recorded their songs on a regular voice recorder, clips were shot on a phone or video camera of the 2000s. Such creations were poured from the social network, and there they already scattered in all directions and became viral memes.
The first fee of the Kurgan and Agregat was three thousand hryvnias.

Now the lumpen rap group is quite popular and in-demand among Ukrainian listeners and more than once Kurgan and Agregat Kyiv conquered with their creativity, drive and simple, but sincere humour between songs.

Even though Kurgan and Agregat began their work in 2014, the team has one album. He was released in 2018 under the name “High School of Rap”, which included 13 songs of the group.
Also this year, a member of the group Eugene (Kurgan) released his mini-album entitled “Library of strange knowledge”.

One of the most striking clips of the group is the song “Vchitelka”, which starred the sex symbol of Ukraine Dasha Astafieva. The shooting took place at the premises of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute.
The trio “sylyukiv” met with Dasha Astafieva during their debut performance. The artist was so impressed with the creativity and manner of presenting the Barrow and the aggregate that after the performance she came to them backstage and began to communicate. After all, they wrote off together in social networks and they made friends.
Later, Dasha Astafieva will star in another video of the group called “Gabeli”.
As the guys themselves admit, the most expensive video was “Postrujis yak minulogo razy”. It took two thousand hryvnias to shoot the video - that is how much the equipment rental cost.
Songwriting, directing and filming of the clips, the arrangements are made by the members of the collective themselves - Eugene, Ramil and Amil. And the trio’s first video was uploaded to the Internet in 2014 under the name “Love, ” which quickly became viral.

Kurgan and Agregat: why is it worth going to a concert in Kyiv?

Kurgan and Agregat is a phenomenon of the Ukrainian scene. The guys do not have a musical education, but this does not stop them from creating and attracting the attention of an increasing number of listeners.

Quite often, the team is a member of such music festivals in our country as:

2. Ternopil festival Faine Misto,
3. Hedonism Festival in Kyiv,
4. Respublica Fest in Khmelnitsky
5. Also on the poster, Kurgan and Agregat Kyiv was the largest festival of Eastern Europe Atlas Weekend.

The virality and popularity on the Internet of the group have done its job, and on the account of Kurgan and Agregat, there is even a joint work with DJs VovKing and Tapolsky.
Their work is close and familiar to many Ukrainians: those who stayed to live in the village, and those who "came" to larger cities and amuse the original city dwellers, because they also went to the village of their grandmother or aunt or just to the country as a child.
