But the second disc “Nights Out” turned out to be good right away. In principle, the glory of the collection begins with her as such. The album even made its way to the radio charts in Britain and took 106th place. It was in the creation of this disc that bassist Olugbengi Adelekan and a girl on drums Anna Prior took part.

One of the most successful albums of the project is the third one - "The English Riviera", which was able not only to reach 28th place in the charts of his native country but also to win silver certification in terms of the number of officially sold copies. From this period, Metronomy began to actively participate in festivals of global importance.

The next album "Love Letters" was released in 2014 and was able to win a happy seventh place not only in the UK but also in France.
In 2016 "Summer 08" was released. In order to create it, Joseph Mount decided to live for a while on a hilltop, in the gardens of England and be inspired by the surrounding nature.

And three years later came the work of a group called "Metronomy Forever". This is the last disc of the project for today. You will be able to hear it live when the Metronomy Kyiv concert spreads its good-natured embrace for everyone.

Metronomy: popular hits

Particularly noteworthy is the romantic summer anthem for the beautiful vacation spots in the native UK “The Bay”. The composition graced the third studio album Metronomy, and the video was shot in that very English Riviera. The purpose of the song is to show that there are beautiful places in their native lands and it is not necessary to go to London, Berlin, Hong Kong or even Tokyo. Beauty is everywhere, beauty is here and now.

The undisputed hit of the same disc is "The Look", which contributed to the commercial and critical success of the entire work as a whole. Here bass kicks and organ funk merge with soft vocals and a bright chorus that is etched into the memory.

Unusual, to put it mildly, is the composition "The Upsetter". The critics described the style of the video as “where monsters live”. A surprising fact is that the clip can be found by the hashtag #beardedwoman.

And the video for “Love Letters” was filmed by Oscar winner Michel Gondry (yes, the same author of the script “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”).
