Gordon Parks is a self-taught photographer who became one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
In the 1940s and 1960s, he worked for a fashion magazine and actively documented daily life in New York, particularly the black community. The theme of racial segregation became a leading theme in his work. His work became decisive for the subsequent history of racial minorities in the United States.
This documentary explores Parks' legacy through the lens of three contemporary photographers and highlights his vision and influence on new generations of artists.
